Team Gold Rod Bass Club

The Gold Rod Bass Club was formed in June 1997 in LaPlace, Louisiana, initiated by Eric Parquet. Ten men initially came together to form the club, which has now grown to over 25 members.

The newest Gold Rod Bass Club was formed in January 2003 in Jacksonville, Florida. Founder Haywood Wallace has expanded the club to over 30 members.

The objectives of the club include sharing bass catching techniques, promoting "catch and release" among bass fishermen, stimulating public awareness and support of bass club fishing and promoting and encouraging youth fishing.
